The Vertex Institute and Softex have signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the aim of boosting technological development and innovation in Alagoas. This partnership aims to create an environment conducive to the advancement of innovative and competitive solutions, with an impact on both the market and people’s lives.

“The collaboration with Softex will allow Vertex to act as a catalyst for the technological demands of the State of Alagoas, promoting the development of disruptive solutions and projects that respond to regional needs and that positively impact the economy and society”, says Diônes Lima, executive vice president of Softex.

Linked to the Edge Innovation Center, Vertex stands out for its comprehensive approach to the project cycle, offering support from the research phase to the development of solutions, in addition to working in areas such as the creation of new business models and experimentation.

With a range of products and services ranging from software platforms and embedded systems to IoT devices, artificial intelligence and manufacturing 4.0, the Institute offers consulting on innovation, digital acceleration, prototype development, as well as training and technological validation.

For Vertex president Jean Paul Neumann, the partnership is here to drive a new phase of growth not only for the Institute, but also for the innovation ecosystem in Alagoas. “With this new agreement, we have become the largest technical-scientific and innovation cooperation network in Alagoas, enhancing our role within the state’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem,” he emphasizes.
