Vertex is a private, non-profit Science and Technology Institute that promotes research and the development of solutions through theoretical and technical knowledge bases, driving technological innovation.

Vertex is the first Softex Ambassador institution in the country, in a strategic cooperation agreement to boost technological development and innovation – this partnership aims to create an environment conducive to the advancement of innovative and competitive solutions, with an impact both on the market and on people’s lives, also contributing to positioning Brazil as a reference in the development of disruptive solutions.

We are accredited as a CATI-MCTI Unit, executing projects with resources from the Information Technology Law.

The Information Technology Area Committee (CATI), created in 2001 and maintained by the Ministry of Science and Technology, manages resources allocated to R&D activities in information technology, allowing companies that develop or produce IT and automation goods and services to obtain tax benefits provided for in the Information Technology Law.
